If time permits, also a video "Master's Orders and Pilot's Advice" - great scenes of the BC coast and piloting of large ships into small spaces. The Langley 2008 Cruise Schedule is as follows:
1..Ganges - June 20 to 22. This is our Christmas in June. We would like you to take the time to decorate your boat and there will be prizes for the # 1 and 2. Judges will be impartial and will come from the boaters in the marina.
Also, we have a caterer from Salt Spring Island cook a couple of turkeys, supply the dressing and the gravy and we ask that you supply one dish from Christmas. This is always a good time.
2. Otter Bay - Aug 15 to 17. We would like to put on a wine and cheese in the afternoon of the 16th. The squadron will supply the cheese and you bring your own refreshments.
